There are 4 different ways to create an account. So depending on who you are and what you need, you must follow a different set of instructions.

How to Sign Up for Kahoot as a Teacher

  1. Go to the sign up page.
  2. Click on “As a Teacher”.kahoot user registration options image
  3. Click on “Sign Up with Email”.
  4. Add your school or university.
  5. Select your workplace details from the drop-down.
  6. Pick a username.
  7. Enter your email address.
  8. Confirm your email address.
  9. Create a password.
  10. Check the terms and conditions box at the bottom.
  11. Click on the “Join Kahoot!” button at the bottom of the page.

How to Create an Account as a Student

  1. Go to the account creation page.
  2. Click on “As a Student”.
  3. Click “Sign Up with Email”.
  4. Enter your date of birth.
  5. Pick a username.
  6. Add your email address.
  7. Confirm your email address.
  8. Create a password.
  9. Check the terms and conditions box.
  10. Click “Join Kahoot!”.

Register Socially

  1. Go to the registration page.
  2. Click on the “Socially” button.
  3. Click “Sign Up” with email.
  4. Enter your date of birth by selecting the appropriate month, day and year from the drop-down menu.
  5. Enter the username you want to use.
  6. Enter your email address.
  7. Confirm the email address you just added.
  8. Create the password you want to use to access your Kahoot account.
  9. Read and accept the site’s terms and conditions if you agree.
  10. Click on “Join Kahoot”.

How to Create an Account at Work

  1. Go to the registration page.
  2. Click “At Work”.
  3. Click “Sign Up” with email.
  4. Enter the name of your company or organization.
  5. Select workplace details from the drop-down menu.
  6. Create a username for your new Kahoot account.
  7. Type the email address you want to use to log in to your account.
  8. Enter your email address one more time where it says “Confirm Your Email Address (Required).
  9. Type the password you want to use to login into the password field.
  10. Read and then accept the site’s terms and conditions if you’re okay with them.
  11. Click on the blue button at the bottom of the form that says “Join Kahoot”.

You can also sign up for a Kahoot account using your Google or Microsoft account.

If you prefer this option, click on “Sign Up with Google” or “Sign Up with Microsoft”.

When the pop-up window opens, choose your account, enter your password, and click “Next” or “Sign in”.

Kahoot will pull all the required information such as email, name, and date of birth to automatically create an account for you.

There are mobile apps available which you can use to register as well.

Download the app for Android or iOS and create an account to play, create and host quizzes on the go.

After downloading and installing the app, open it and tap “Next”.

Now specify how you want to use Kahoot. If you’re a teacher, tap on “As a teacher”. If you’re a student, tap on “As a student”. If you want to use it socially, tap on “Socially”. And if you want to use it at work, tap “For work”.

Enter your age and tap “OK”.

Tap on the avatar at the top left of the screen, and then tap “Sign Up”.

Now you will have the option to create an account using a Google account, a Microsoft account, or an email account.

If you selected email, enter your account details such as date of birth, username, email, password, etc… and then click “Join Kahoot”.
